Marc first graduated from the Lincoln Institute School of Physiotherapy in 1981. After a two year stint as a new graduate at the Wangaratta Base Hospital, he then travelled through Europe for 1 year and returned to work in private practices in Lalor and Glenroy. From April 1986 to April 2009 he has been the principal physiotherapist at the Sunbury Physiotherapy Clinic but has recently relinquished this position to be an employed physiotherapist and part of the team of therapists at the Sunbury physiotherapy Clinic.
Marc has completed Post graduate studies in Sports Physiotherapy which has brought him in closer contact with professional sportspeople and their demands.
In 1995 as part of his post-graduate studies, he spent time at the Geelong Football Club and worked closely with the physiotherapists from Collingwood and Sandringham Football Clubs.
As well as his strong interest in sports injury prevention and management, Marc has worked closely with local industry to help injured workers recover from work-related accidents and return to meaningful employment as soon as practical.
Marc’s areas of special interests are in the management and prevention of all sports injuries, in particular those related to the spine, and lower limb.
Marc’s commitment to Sunbury and the Macedon Ranges is evidenced by his long term presence in the area and his involvement with the community on a professional, social and sporting basis. |
