Fees variation associated with:

  • Discounts for pensioners and health care card holders

  • Higher fees for senior & post graduate trained physiotherapists

  • An after hours fee applied to appointments after 5:30pm and on Saturdays

Fee variation associated with:

  • The experience of the Physiotherapist – As with most professionals, a higher fee is associated with consulting a more experienced practitioner who has had further training and obtained valuable experience in assisting many people over a number of years.

  • If it is a specialised appointment including vestibular, sports, dance screening, pre- pointe assessment or pelvic health physiotherapy. If you are consulting a specialised physiotherapist, typically the consultation fees will be higher as the practitioner has completed a high level of further training in one specific area and is renowned for their work. Similarly to paying a higher fee when seeing a specialist medical doctor compared to your GP, seeing a specialised physiotherapist will attract a higher fee.
