From the social weekend golfer to the mixed martial artist, people who love to play and compete  in sport, often are pushing their bodies to great lengths to achieve sporting outcomes, but unfortunately this can also lead to injury

 

Sports physiotherapists assess and manage sports injuries, but also go one step further in assisting in reducing the risk of future injury as well as working with you to maximise your performance, helping you to achieve your full sporting potential. 

They do this by assessing why the injury may have occurred in the first place, giving guidance in   biomechanics, collaboratively assist in determining appropriate load management for you as an individual and advise regarding improving strength and control all of which help prevent injury, minimising your time out of your chosen sport.
